‘Contemporary Still Life’ at Cavalier Galleries, New York

“Contemporary Still Life,” a group exhibition featuring various artists started on March 20 and will run through April 28, 2017 at Cavalier Galleries, New York.
The selection of works on display features recent paintings from the still-life genre. It highlights works by many of today’s leading artists whose creations explore this traditional theme and find innovative modern approaches to the subject. The still-life genre gives the artist the liberty to arrange their own selected elements into a composition allowing it to evolve through the ages. The show surveys the diversity of the genre in the present day. Artists showcased in the exhibition include Tommy TC Carlsson, Jenness Cortez, John Darley, Joel Carson Jones, and Sarah Lamb among others.
