Bruno Lucchesi honored by Portrait Society of America

Lucchesi began his sculpture career in his native country of Italy before moving to the United States in 1958. In the decades since Lucchesi has established himself as a prominent figure sculptor and educator. His bronzes can be found in collections worldwide, including over 15 major museums. A dedicated instructor, Lucchesi continues to teach workshops in the U.S. and abroad, In 2010, Lucchesi was awarded National Sculpture Society's highest honor, the Medal of Honor, for his lifetime contributions in the world of sculpture.
Lucchesi will be honored at the Gala Program as part of the Portrait Society's 17th Annual Art of the Portrait, April 30 - May 2, in Atlanta, Georgia.
