PRESS RELEASE
Stamford, CT, June 1, 2024- Downtown Stamford's Art in Public Places celebrates its 31st year with an exhibition featuring monumental sculptures by three Cavalier Galleries artists: Joy Brown, Bjørn Okholm Skaarup, and Jim Rennert. The gallery is delighted to share the works shown here with the Stamford community this summer.
In 1993, Ron Cavalier developed what was initially called the Stamford Sculpture Walk, with loans of monumental works by major artists to the city that the gallery first called home. Cavalier Galleries moved from downtown Stamford to neighboring Greenwich in 1994 and is celebrating thirty years on Greenwich Avenue. We are proud to continue our relationship with Stamford’s signature public art program and hope that the many thousands of visitors to the city’s vibrant downtown will take enormous pleasure in the outdoor art.
