Skaarup's enchanting works have been exhibited in Dante Park at Lincoln Center in New York City, beside the Flatiron building in New York City, the Washington National Cathedral, the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT, the Koldinghus Museum in Denmark, Museo del Cenacolo di Ognissanti in Florence, Italy, the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence, Italy, Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy, and a collection of 10 works is on permanent public display throughout the Collectivité of St. Barthélemy.
Bjorn Skaarup holds an MA in History and Art History from the University of Copenhagen and a PhD in History from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
